Enrolling in the School of Greatness
We make decisions every day about our lives and how to go about living them. In our twenties, it is common for more serious questions to be asked and about who we want to become. It is the youthful age where your mind expands and grows with knowledge(if you let it), but of course what good is all the rich information if you aren’t using it do something useful. These are the kinds of thoughts that may linger the mind of most of us who are desperate to find a “Great” purpose in life. By that I mean a purpose that through your own deliberation can conclude is worth living out.
WE want to be more, grow more, and unfold in the best way we possibly know. Sometimes, we stifle in lue of the circumstances of having to figure things out for ourselves and fear the thought of failure more then that of winning. This is unfortunate for those who stop persisting because mediocrity will find a way to to keep you down. We inherently aren’t taught how to get back up whenever things get out of balance in our lives. Finding the right tools to help you stay focused will prove to be essential to keep us on our feet and fighting the invisible man that is life knocking us down to find out how bad we want to succeed.
Thoughts maketh the man and to make a Great man one must have vision.His own perisonal philosophy and values will determine this. we need to be encouraged to ask ourselves better questions and use our higher brain horsepower to put effort to give better answers too. Challenging ourselves can be fulfilling, but like most things in life that are worth doing, difficult. Our character therefore must become stronger if it is lacking.
Life tends to be about there being problems and fixing them to the best of YOUR abilities. There are problems that need solutions (or rather opportunities) in all sorts of areas in the marketplace. In here lies the value that you’re seeking to provide. Specializing in a certain skill that is not only of interest to you but positively useful is a next step to consider. In this realization lies seeking a solution for how to create a product or service where you can bring something different and execute in accordance with your vision. Remember that if you want clarity, engagment is necessary.
An essential thing to do in this pursuit is to get feedback, good or bad, it doesn’t matter..Anytime I’ve been able to excel and do well in something is when I seek constructive criticism in improving the way I’m doing it. I find that the best results tend to come from getting others giving me advice; that I in turn judge as sound feedback. The best likely thing you can do is realize that you can’t always figure everything out for yourself, despite all the information you may acquire. Getting yourself a mentor is one of the most fruitful and time effective strategies you can implement to get things going in the right direction. It is worth noting that this will help us get farther in life then we could possibly know.
These are only a few of the initial things that should be considered and acted upon to lead you in a new direction for your life. Ask yourself good questions and seek to come up with the good answers. Just because college is out doesn’t mean that the learning stops. These days so many people are more worried getting the grades for the material things attached to it. If you find yourself unhappy with what your doing and are building the dreams of others rather than yourself, I suggest taking action into starting something up that you can be passionate about..Don’t let fears handicap and paralyze you from living a life that can be more enjoyable in the long run and fulfilling too.
For myself the school of Greatness is the school I want to attend. The class is in session everyday. Your ultimate competitor is the guy you were yesterday and pushing your self to be better, stronger and wiser then him everyday. The books,mentors and the work that you do will determine how great you can become and the value of your results produced will be evaluated by the demand for them in the marketplace.
